Choosing the right candidate in nowadays is not an easy job. Most candidates use propaganda to advertise themselves and defame their opponents. And when it comes to plans, they really use some facts that we are not able to interpret. So, as we are not able to process their plans and assumptions, we judge them and decide through the maximalised emotional propaganda e.g. we chose who we feel that cares more about us.
The proposition here is to establish a "Citizen’s Diploma" that will provide the citizens with the tools to process the candidates rhetoric and be able to understand if their plans are real. This diploma can include information from many different fields that will come togehter and make the citizens more wholesome when it comes to decide.Basic economic terms, historical facts,law, technological and scientific standards, agricultural terms, marketing terms, advertising techniques. These seminars and exams can be provided through the internet and one can manage their spare time to check them out and be informed free of charge.
We urge for a training on how things work and interact and not only pure academic knowledge.
This training could provide the Citizens the basic tools on understanding if the Candidates, have real plans or just making propaganda and emotional marketing. In this terms real politics planning can grow again as the citizens will be more suspicious and better informed.
Also after this education, the Citizens will probably become more demanding towards the Candidates and this will increase the quality of the Candidates.
In parallel citizens will become more wholesome towards the society understanding the need of different fields and sectors. Also by knowing more about their rights and role in the society they will become more active.
As for motivation this optional diploma could be the first step for the "Candidate's diploma".
