Ban Dishonesty #BrexitJUSTICE

#BrexitJustice is a volunteer run crowdfunding campaign which exists to fund legal action in order to bring justice to dishonest politicians and challenge Brexit in the courts.

Marcus J. Ball, who founded the Brexit Justice campaign, says his team of lawyers are now building a case to take politicians to court.

On 23 June 2016 over 33 million people voted in the EU referendum. Brexit justice campaign is strongly supported from those who believe that the organization ‘Vote Leave’ misled members of the public. Vote Leave is said to have done so by promoting two claims. First, that the UK sends £350 million to the European Union every week and this money would be spent on the National Health Service if the UK voted to leave the European Union. Second, that remaining in the European Union would lead to unrestricted immigration.

The first claim seems incorrect and the proposal hypothetical, the second claim is also hypothetical as it was based mostly on migration from Turkey which isn't an EU member after all.

Can we extract the conclusion that "Vote Leave" may have deliberately misled the public?

Even if we end up on this conclusion or not, the important thing is that if Vote leave can be prosecuted. Someone can read more on this in [1].

From this point in this article we won't talk about Brexit justice but about the related issue of dishonesty in politics and how it can be "banned" or eliminated and why.

Dishonesty can be banned only by justice. There seems to be a gray area world wide where justice can be given by the physical court or by the parliament.

Also there is an issue on defining public interest and the jurisdiction between the parliament and the Court.

Smart Democracy believes that this is one of the most crucial issues of nowadays democracy.

First of all the Democracy diploma for Citizens and Candidates would strongly change the dynamics of the problem. People will be more informed and misleading won't be that easy. Rhetoric will be based more in intelligence that analogies.

Secondly the V.E.R rule that will correlate the primary surplus with the governmental salary will be a great discouragement for political propaganda.

Thirdly smart justice that will correlate the penalties to ones wealth and not only to a fixed amount will be also a threaten to the one who conquers public power and authority by using lies-propaganda.

Last but not least we need new lawmaking - legislation to prosecute dishonesty. Individuals must be prosecuted as individuals in the physical court and not as a political entity where jurisdiction is assigned to the parliament.
