From Quantum Physics to Quantum Democracy. The Dualism of Voting! Another way of decision making.

from quantum Physics to quantum democracy

Quantum superposition is a fundamental principle of quantum physics. It states that, much like waves in classical physics, any two (or more) quantum states can be added together ("superposed") and the result will be another valid quantum state; and conversely, that every quantum state can be represented as a sum of two or more other distinct states.

Let's see how this law of particle physics can be found in politics and change forever our decision making.

We expect the political parties to cooperate for the common weal- good, but yet we can only choose one of them in the elections. This rule of being able to vote for one party, creates a competitive environment.

Parties are in opposition in order to gain our vote.

Antagonism creates opposition and opposition leads to propaganda.

This is happening just because the system gives us the opportunity to only choose one.

This is obvious especially during the elections where the opponents show no mercy to each other.

Parties cannot cooperate as the system obliges them, to fight each other in order to gain our attention and vote.

And this leads into promises of fairylands and into spreading rumours against each other in order to fulfil their goal and take control of the state.

The system till now wants the parties to gain our interest by dividing society. But this is a great paradox and a bug of every running democratic process.

Yet in many countries the electoral system show great maturity by giving the parties the opportunity to cooperate with each other, still it does not give the citizens the opportunity to express which parties they want to cooperate.

This leads the parties to have a degree of freedom which sometimes leads to arbitrariness or instability.

How could we inverse this trend?

The solution to this problem is the ability to choose two parties instead of one during the voting process.

This system can be called V.T.P. vote two parties.

Synthesis will be urged by the system itself and the combined - dual votes will boost the cooperation.

Every citizen will be able to vote for two different parties and this will be called the dual vote.

The soul of democracy is to combine the interests in a way that people will have prosperity for now and the future, but to combine interests we need to have coalitions. This is what V.T.P. is all about.

The perception of the parties towards citizens will change as long as their rhetoric.

Parties will be motivated to make coalitions into the society way before the elections. In the context of the new system except the single vote, they will have to care about the dual vote.

Thus Dilemmas and discord will shorten in rhetoric, and coalitions at least in some aspects will rise.

In parallel the way people see the system will be improved. A positive psychological perspective from the parties for coalitions at least in some sectors will produce a positive feedback to the people. In good faith democracy can rise again as a value. Consequently people's participation will increase in the elections, abstention will fall. The feeling of absence of control into political issues will start to fade, improving the psychological perspective, towards the system and democracy. Approaching the parties In good faith will be a great gain for democracy as a value and for cooperation into the society.

Authoritative systems, tend to boost psychology and cut off any path of participation to decisions. Our Democracy after the elections sometimes produces the same feeling. We feel that we got ripped off. This is one of the reasons people started to vote for Nationalism and sometimes disguised fascism again. People's hope on not getting ripped off in the elections again and again leads them to an authoritative vote.

But why Democracy ends up work as an authoritative system?

This is produced as the the elected first party claims that it's voters exclusively support only their ideas. And thus they have the public support to become authoritative.

The new system V.T.P. will prevent Democratic Governments from this authoritative attitude. Dual votes will prove that they are not the only truth and will force the first party to enrich their governmental decisions with the ideas of others. We won't wait the elections to produce union, synthesis of the ideas will be produced way before the elections, rising from the society.

Parties benefit, will be to point out which are their common ideas. Parties will be motivated to depict common ideas in order to gain dual votes. This will change the psychological perspective of society towards the system.

Small parties will also be benefited. The citizens we will be able to vote for fresh and new ideas and at the same time choose and vote a well established party with standard ideas using the dual vote.

The new system in a simple example

The V.T.P. In numbers:

Let's try an arithmetic example dual votes will count in the sum up as single votes.

for simplicity we assume only 2 parties A,B on the elections:

A takes 10 votes individually

A+B takes 10 votes combined

B takes 5 votes individually

the sum will be for A=20 AND for B=15

let's take a more realistic example with 3 parties A,B,C

A takes 10 votes

B takes 5 votes

C takes 3 votes

A+B takes 7 combined votes

A+C takes 8 combined votes

C+B takes 6 combined votes

the sum will be for A = 10+7+8 =25

for B = 5+7 +6 =18

for C = 3+8+6=17

The sum will show which is the first party and also the suggested political coalitions by the people.

IF People will be allowed to vote for more than one party in the elections there will be many benefits for citizens and democracy.

There will be a great gain in people’s participation and expression.

Synthesis will be urged by the system itself.
